Sorry...I don't know the math. Teachers do not usually start at 22 anymore. Master's are required. And as I said, I don't know anyone retiring at 55. I DO know that no one contributes to the teacher retirement fund--but I have NO clue how this pays for itself...I'm just not that up to speed on it.
